Carol Blomgren received her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University in 1992, where she studied EMG analysis of LE muscles with Dr. Steven Wolf. Her 28 year career included Director of Outpatient Rehab, PT for the Tulane University athletic training room, Owner of Physical Therapy Masters providing services to developmental disabled adults, acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehab and home health. She was a Clinical Education Coordinator for LSU and the University of Mississippi. Carol has extensive experience and knowledge of Biophysical Agents and their application. She joined Accelerated Care Plus in 2006 and provides education and training on best practices for rehabilitation of the older adult. As a Clinical Program Consultant with ACP, her desire is to encourage and equip clinicians with the knowledge and tools they need to provide patient centered, evidence based, efficient and medically necessary skilled services to achieve the best possible outcomes.
