Our History

Founded more than 20 years ago by John Castel, Ph.D., and John Beach, Accelerated Care Plus (ACP) set out with one goal: to Revolutionize Rehabilitation. Since 1996, ACP has been at the forefront of rehabilitation technology, making its mark by introducing a new proprietary e-stim waveform, PENS, offered through the OmniStim FX2, the only device of its kind in the industry. 

Over the years, ACP grew its portfolio, expanding its focus beyond biophysical agents to include rehabilitation technologies for exercise, balance, and functional activities, evidence-based clinical programming, and services that delivered better clinical outcomes. In 2010, ACP joined forces with Hanger, Inc., a partnership that expanded our capabilities and reinforced our dedication to advancing rehabilitative care.   

Today, ACP is the most recognized provider of rehabilitation solutions used by thousands of facility partners across the United States. Guided by expert PTs, OTs, and SLPs, ACP continues to drive advancements in rehabilitative care through its growing suite of innovative technologies, comprehensive clinical programming, and robust clinical services, providing exceptional value for your patients and facility.
