Mark started his career as a Physical Therapist in 1992 after graduating from University of Maryland with a BS in PT. He spent the next 30 years working in the outpatient orthopedic space as a clinician and clinic director in the Baltimore area. He worked toward several orthopedic, manual therapy, and spine certifications and presented courses to his colleagues at Medstar. He worked on the golf medicine team, and as a certified Concussion specialist. Since 2022 Mark has worked as a Clinical Program Consultant for ACP.  Working with SNF and ALF therapists, nursing and administrators on clinical education and programming to address the major deficits in the aging population including neurologic deficits, pain, incontinence, wounds, contractures, and fall risk. He has specialized in educating and leading therapists with evidence-based approaches for these common impairments in aged adult populations.
