Larry Fortunato earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from University of Central Florida in 1995 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in 2014. The APTA’s Section on Geriatrics certified him as an Exercise Expert for Aging Adults in 2012. In 2004 Larry earned an Assistive Technology Practitioner certification from The Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America. He joined ACP as a Clinical Program Consultant in 2005. Prior to that, his clinical focus centered on neurological and geriatric rehab. He has been the PT team leader for Brain & Spinal Cord Rehab programs and custom seating and mobility clinics at Florida Hospital Orlando and Sea Pines Rehabilitation Hospital. A retired circus performer, Larry is an accomplished classical singer/tenor and devotes his leisure time to performing with Opera Orlando, Bach Festival Choir of Winter Park, & his own a Capella vocal quintet ConVivo Orlando.
