About this course:
This two hour course is intended to provide clinicians with the most current in-depth information about ultrasound. The course materials and clinical protocols presented are evidence-based and oriented to immediate clinical application of therapeutic ultrasound. The lab demonstration provides active participation to reinforce concepts and techniques using ultrasound for common treatment indications in rehab.

Frailty Series - Frailty Overview
Frailty is a geriatric syndrome which leads to increased vulnerability to stressors, affects overall health and quality of life, and limits functional mobility and ADL/IADL. Clinical Practice Guidelines recommend interdisciplinary team management to prevent or reverse frailty. This two-hour course provides clinicians with in-depth information on ultrasound research and clinical applications. It reviews contributing factors influencing ultrasound efficacy, physiologic effects of the clinical protocols, and evidence-based research for common patient conditions. The hands-on case studies lab provides active participation to reinforce concepts and techniques using ultrasound for evidence-based indications across the healthcare continuum.
