Dysphagia AdvancedAspiration is a common occurrence in swallowing. Determining when aspiration becomes pathological is a multifactorial process that requires critical thinking and surveying the current evidence. This course will describe the research related to the predictors of aspiration pneumonia. In addition, the course will provide guidance concerning how to mitigate the impact of aspiration as part of comprehensive dysphagia rehab program and in the total picture of health.
